"The eyes are the mirror of the soul and its affections. One finds this principally in tumultuous and vile men who conceal their badness for a long time, but when they are distracted and unaware, it suddenly appears in their face and eyes. Therefore, the face and the eyes indicate the joy or sadness of the soul, its love or hatred; so also, honesty or treachery and hypocrisy."

(Commentaria in Scripturam Sacram, Paris 1878, vol. 9, p. 541)

I fell in love with this quote and had to draw a picture that reflects it somehow.

So I watched Supernatural that evening and I realized that it suits Dean Winchester perfectly who is struggeling with his demon self. :)

So I searched for a reference and found a nice one: I changed the eye to be an bit larger than normal and more expressive to reflect his conflict with the evil and his soul. Therefor the eye should be the center of my drawing.

I hope you like it that way :)

This is a very well done portrait. the tones are very well done and you even got the facial hair perfect. There are only one suggestion I have for this. The entire portrait looks realistic, but the iris of the eye looks a little too simple compared to the rest of the face. I feel like it's missing some values and gives it too stark of contrast, making the eye look cartoony. If you are going for a full realistic portrait, I would suggest fixing this with a little more tone. But it does give the portrait a unique quality and adds to the sad atmostphere around him (like he's tearing up) so you can either take this advice or ignore it for personal taste. all in all it is a very nice portrait and it gives off a lot of emotion.
